HIGHLY POWER-EFFICIENT. With the STIHL 2-MIX engine, you can reduce exhaust emissions and fuel consumption, and therefore operating costs. This 2-stroke engine is low-maintenance and uses fuel efficiently even at high power levels. Use a mixture of petrol and engine oil as fuel. The STIHL 2-MIX engine complies with the strict EU Stage V emissions directive.
STIHL 2-MIX ENGINE
EFFORTLESS STARTING. STIHL ErgoStart saves you energy when starting your power tools. A smooth and even pull on the starter cord is all that’s needed. The required speed on the starter cord is significantly reduced, and the engine starts quickly and reliably even with a slow pull. An additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord roll makes this easier.

COMFORTABLE OPERATION. Thanks to the single-handed multi-function handle, you can control your power tool easily and reliably with one hand. Because all relevant control elements are integrated in the handle, it can be operated by both right-handed and left-handed users.

RELIABLE WORK WITH THE BEST PERFORMANCE. With STIHL M-Tronic, you’ll have the best performance from your work tool from the outset. Fully electronic engine management regulates the ignition timing and fuel metering in all work situations, taking into account external conditions such as temperature, altitude and fuel quality.
STIHL M-TRONIC
REDUCED MAINTENANCE. The compensator is a control system in the carburettor, which uses pressure compensation to ensure that engine performance, exhaust gas quality and fuel consumption remain virtually constant over a long period of time, despite increasing contamination of the air filter. You do not need to clean the air filter until there is a noticeable drop in performance. This means that you can work for a long time without maintenance.
COMPENSATOR
RESTART WORK QUICKLY. With the stop button, you can switch off your power tool quickly and easily for a short break, for example. As the button springs back to its original position after actuation, the engine is immediately ready to start again. This provides more comfort after breaks and increases your work efficiency.
STOP BUTTON
The transparent fuel tank with a volume of 0.75 l ensures long work intervals with fewer refueling stops. The fill level is clearly visible from the outside. Easy refueling thanks to the large, easily accessible tank opening. (image similar)

The powerful and robust STIHL FS 461 C-EM petrol-driven clearing saw has a particularly large mowing circle diameter of 520 mm for very fast work progress.

The high-torque and economical STIHL 2-MIX engine ensures sufficient power for complex, large-areamowing work, clearing overgrown areas and maintaining young trees. The STIHL FS 461 C-EM is equipped with STIHL ErgoStart to make starting easier. STIHL M-Tronic 3.0 offers optimum engine performance and a constant maximum engine speed.

The ergonomic bike handle (mowing handle) helps you to work comfortably with your petrol brushcutter, supporting a natural scything movement when mowing with a brushcutter. The innovative ADVANCE Grip handle element offers a highly ergonomic and intuitive working experience. The STIHL ADVANCE PLUS universal harness that comes as standard supports you in making work less fatiguing. The STIHL anti-vibration system relieves strain on your muscles and joints by reducing vibrations while working.

You can equip your STIHL FS 461 C-EM petrol-driven brushcutter with various cutting tools, such as a grass-cutting blade, shredder blade, circular saw blade or a range of mowing heads, and in this way optimally adapt the power tool to your respective task. The FS 461 C-EM brushcutter is equipped with the STIHL 300-3 brush knife as standard. The large mowing guard offers protection against flying cuttings and small stones.
